PASTA WAFFLES

PASTA WAFFLES

I found another great use for leftover pasta
Pasta Waffles…
…then turned them into the base for our morning fried egg sandwich.

PASTA WAFFLES
(makes enough for 4 waffles)
2 cups cooked angel hair pasta
2 tbsp flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Whisk egg then stir in the rest of the ingredients.
Scoop portions onto heated waffle iron
and cook until steam subsides and both sides are brown and crispy.

Now load your sandwich..
spread each side with mayonnaise,
top with
fried egg,
bacon,
cheese,
tomato slice,
greens,
lots of pepper
…and don’t forget the hot sauce.

Isn’t breakfast fun?

Galley Kat Notes

If you are really into waffling and don’t have leftover pasta,

these little ‘sandwiches’ can be made with Ramen Noodles.
