Super versatile, easy to throw together and adds such wonderful flavour to grilled meats or fish.

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Two cup storage container

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups panko
  • 3/4 cups finely grated parmesan
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley
  • 3 tbsp corn meal
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried chili flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Mix together and keep in an air tight container until ready to use (see Galley Kat Notes for ideas)

Notes

I’ve now tried this on chicken, pork chops, fish and have even coated meatballs and burgers for additional flavour. Try adding 1/4 cup of the coating mix to ground hamburger or chicken. Also a great coating for fish cakes or potato pancakes
