OK… Now this one I am really pleased with…

An inexpensive can of snails, some Spanish ham, roasted tomatoes,

A little garlic & onion, spicy paprika…

Toasted Tuscan bread..

A sacrificed splash of wine…


a really good and super easy one pan meal.


…here’s what I used…
2 garlic cloves, smashed and chopped
1/3 cup chopped onion
Serrano ham, about 1/2-2/3 cup chopped
1 can snails, drained
1 can fire-roasted tomatoes
smoked paprika
chopped parsley to garnish
crusty bread, sliced
olive oil for brushing bread
…here’s how I put it together…
In a small amount of oil, sauté garlic and onion.
Add ham and sauté a minute or two just until it starts to brown a bit.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Add a splash of wine to deglaze.
Stir in tomatoes and simmer for a couple of minutes to blend flavours.
In the meantime, brush bread with oil and grill until crispy and brown.
Back to the stove top, stir in snails to bring to serving temperature.
Scoop into bowls,
garnish with parsley
and serve with crusty bread.
