FRENCH ONION MUSHROOM PASTA

Remember that extra effort we went through the other day?
Of course I haven’t forgotton.
Here’s how you can make use of some, but not all, of that rich delicious onion mushroom mixture.
I may have been overly creative throwing this together so feel free to add or subtract as you wish.
It’s the way I get when I have the base of my meal sitting in front of me.
Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
This time according to Captain, it worked.
FRENCH ONION MUSHROOM PASTA
what you will need
2 cups leftover French Onion Mushroom mixture, re-heated and set aside (see how to here)
enough spaghetti for two servings
1/2 cup chopped parsely for garnish
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan for garnish
sprinkling of Magic Mushroom Powder, optional (recipe here)
sprinkling of dried chilis (optional)
1 tbsp grated avocado pit. See, I told you I was getting creative but I’ve been reading about how nutritious this is (optional)
Olive oil for drizzling
putting all the deliciousness together
Cook your pasta according to directions, drain
Divide pasta between two serving plates.
Divide heated mushroom onion mixture on top.
Dress with garnishes and drizzle with extra olive oil

This sounds so delicious – I have a soft spot for nearly all of the ingredients you listed here so it’s definitely a must-try! Also, I should make it for my best friend since she’s a vegetarian and I’m always looking for new things to cook for her.

Thanks Lisa. It really was all that. The bit of grated avocado pit was a ‘just because I read it was nutritious’ but it added another interesting flavour layer.
