I put together a few of my favourite chocolate recipes for you

to celebrate Chocolate Lovers’ Month

beginning with my latest Chocolate fix…

Hot Chocolate Truffles

A dear friend’s recent birthday pushed me

to make a little something special to leave at his door.

I know he’s crazy about my

Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter treats

but I wanted to try something new.

Hot Chocolate Truffles sound good?

I thought so too.

This recipe from Your Cup of Cake was perfect,

very much the same as my Chocolate Truffles

but the thought of making them into instant hot chocolate

was such a great idea.

Some dark chocolate chips and cream formed the base.

A few minutes to melt.

A little chill time then rolled is rich cocoa powder

and I was ready to sample.

Hot Chocolate Truffles

Instead of heated milk, I added one of the truffles to my morning coffee.

A little mocha in my java.

Pure rich decadent morning heaven.

I love the idea of adding different flavours

like almond, or rum extract,

or how about rolling in crushed candy canes instead of cocoa.

My hug in a big red mug.
