SIMPLE IS BEST

Sometimes simple is the best…
Making use of what was in the refrigerator this morning…
 
 
BREAKFAST STIR UP
…some leftover hash browns,
…mushrooms,
…green onions,
…baby spinach.
…eggs to scramble
…sea salt and some pepper.
…a dash or three of hot sauce…
…a tasty breakfast in five…
And making use of what’s lying around for supper…
 
 
EASY PIZZA
 
Homemade pitas
Brussels sprouts
Pepperoni (leftover from pepperoni chips)
Mozzarella (leftover from pasta fritatta)
Brush each pita with a bit of olive oil
I mix all toppings in a bowl and toss with my hands and distribute over each pita.
Add any spices you wish
Drizzle more oil (spicy or non) over each
(we like spicy so lots of chili oil and dried chilis)
Onboard these would be grilled
On land 400-500 ° for a mere 5 minutes
Just enough time to melt the cheese and crisp the pita.
…another tasty meal ready in 5
